All About School...

Kelli loves school. She loves to work at her homework, and she is almost always busy with something that has to do with school. At this age I can truly see her reasoning and logic begin to work as she sees consequences for behaviors as well as cause and effect in almost any situation. Not only these things...but she can do homework in some very interesting positions. Here she is with her snack, doing homework...Isn't she cute?

Braces.....

Today I got my Braces put on. It was weird how they put the expander in, and the glue tasted really horrible. I don't like them because they hurt my teeth, but I think they look cool! The rubber bands are pink. I can't wait to see what my teeth will look like when I am done. When I walked into my class at the end of the day, everyone wanted to see my braces. They said, "Wow, did it hurt when they put them on?".

When I went to Tucson I went hiking on Mt. Lemon! Well not exactly hiking...we were pretty much playing in a low water creek. The water was freezing! All of us got our shoes soaked! I was the only one who didnt bring extra shoes! I had to wear my wet ones to dinner. When we were playing in the water I was diging in a sandy area and I found a worm. Emma knocked it out of my hands when my mom tried to take the picture, because she thought it was gross. When we got to my Nana & Papa's house the next day we went outside and played Ping Pong. Then Papa pushed us in the wheel barrel. My uncle and cousin came over for lunch. We had two bowls of Ice Cream while we were there, cool! I also got to go shopping with Nana and Mom at the grocery store. I had lots of fun.

WhenI went to Flagstaff we went hiking. when we were hiking we found a hill. All the kids went on top. We found cool flowers, and we also found a squirrel or 3. My favorite part of the whole trip was finding the flowers during the hike. At the Grand Canyon it was cool to see the Colorado River all the way down at the bottom. I wasn't scared at all. I want to go back...it was a lot of fun.

Chuck E. Cheese was fun! I saw my friends Mallory and Jacob, also my PE teacher Mrs. Abadessa. Some of the games I played were Ski Ball, Fred, and Catch the Fish. The pizza was good, but mostly I just wanted to play games.

All About the First Day of School

My first day of school was August 4th. I had lots of fun. My teacher called the day information overload, because she had to tell us so much information about the class and how the year was going to work. I made 2 new friends, Katie & Jasmine. I also got to take a picture with an old friend Paige, see above. My favorite part of the 1st day of school was making new friends. I like my teacher because she is fun and she does a lot of stuff like stickers and treasure box. She likes to do on the spot cards and star student also. I got an on the spot card the first week, for Share and Care, because I reminded the teacher that we had music a couple minutes before we had to leave. I can't wait to see the 2nd week of school.
